Mad about Space Onesie
After my 12-13 year old Eureka finally started showing it’s age while still doing a decent job, I bought the Hoover Tempo Widepath Upright Vacuum, Bagged, U5140-900 from a local Do It Best Hardware store– I figured the few extra dollars it cost at the store was worth the convenience, in case I needed to return it. As a test, I first vacuumed my 3-room apartment using my “suficient” old Eureka, and then re-vacuumed with the new Hoover. Although my old vacuum seemed to perform better than it had in months (as though it somehow “knew” it was being compared to it’s new replacement), when I re-vacuumed with the Hoover, it sounded like I was vacuuming the parking lot. I couldn’t believe all the sand and dirt I heard it picking up!
I had been hesitant to buy this particular vacuum, because of reviewers’ complaints of it being too loud and made of cheap plastic, and needing frequent bag/belt replacements. Although it’s not a quiet machine, it’s not as loud as my regular-sounding Eureka was. In fact, my cat (who always runs and hides when I vacuum) actually stayed in her cat bed and watched as I ran the Hoover for the first time. Who says vacuuming is supposed to be a quiet chore, anyway??? Yes, the attachments are plastic, but no flimsier than the Eureka’s, which I found to be more than adequate. The Hoover’s plastic body helps keep it light-weight, yet it’s sturdy enough for the job. I’ve only had the Hoover for 13 days, and I’ve used it 3 times– haven’t broken a belt nor filled a bag, but when the time comes, I will probably order replacements from Amazon, as I believe the prices were lower when compared to WalMart. The vacuum came (from the store) with 3 bags, which may need to be replaced often only by virtue of the fact that this machine picks up so much dirt! The light-weight construction and strong suction make this model very easy to use and virtually self-propelled.

Don’t think about Southern Journal Sports
I’ve only used it twice since purchase but it has really done the job for me. The assembly is very easy. I have seen some reviews comment on the frequency of emptying the gray water, but I found that is no more often then the rental cleaners. I am so impressed with the steam cleaning that dry’s very quickly. Having pets, that’s a big plus for me. It also worked great on a couple of floor rugs that are too large for my washer.
I haven’t owned it long enough to attest to the durability but I think as long as you follow the instructions on cleaning the equipment and storage after use it should hold up very well.

I read lots of reviews about lots of vacuums before purchasing this vacuum. I was hoping it was as good as everyone said, and I was not disappointed!! It was very reasonably priced, and does a great job! I have owned several canisters and bagless vacs. I am partial to canisters because of the ease in reaching under things. But this one has a low profile, so it does a pretty good job reaching the places I need to reach. And the first time I started, I found out quickly that I had better have a firm grip on the handle- the power head will pull the thing right out of your hand and the vac will take off on its own across the floor. Sound-wise, it is really not any louder than most of my previous vacs, and quieter than the Fantom Fury I just retired. I read that the power head will throw dirt around on tile and wood floors. I mainly have carpet, so I haven’t experienced this yet. Seems to do OK on the small amount of hard floors I have. We have cats, and with a separate attachment I picked up for this purpose (didn’t come with the vacuum), the vac does a great job picking up cat hair.
The only negatives I have found are:
- Since it is a small vac, the bags are small- so buy extras.
- The cord is a little too short- Be ready to unplug and plug in a lot if you have much space to cover.
- The hose is really short. I think I will be buying an extension hose soon.
- As expected with an inexpensive unit, the attachments are very basic.
In summary, I am very pleased so far. Hopefully it will last long enough for me to get my money’s worth.

Take care of Nerfoop Hoop Nerf Basketball
I just loved this book and found myself staying up late because I just couldn’t put it down. I recently heard they are making the book into a movie. Hopefully they can capture this spectacular story! Loved it!

Hello Kitchenaid Nylon Slotted Spoon
The Office Home and Student is perfect for what I needed. I have had Office before and never used the Publishing or other parts of the full package. I believe that this is the perfect blend of programs that fit my needs and at a lower price point. Some of the new features in the Windows Word and Excel are worth the upgrade.

Struggle 9th Democracy for must go on
I purchased this instead of an iPhone – No way can I justify $80/mo. I don’t need that much phone.
I am loving my iTouch and am discovering more apps to play with.
I am not giving this 5 stars for the following:
The sound without separate speakers is poor.
The battery life is abysmal. You need to be tethered to some power source in order to use it for any length of time.
Still – I love, love, love this!

There is a 12 year old boy name Artemis. His father went missing one day and he wants to get his forunte back. The main conflict is that Artemis and his bodyguard name Butler kidnapped a fairy name Captain Short. He is going to show everyone the whole world who they are unless they give him tons of gold. Artemis says that he can escape the time stop. Can he really escape it or is he just lying to them?
I like this book since it show that a 12 year old boy is really smart. Like how Artemis know where the fairies be when they have to renew there magic. What I dont like about this book is that they be talking about one charcter all of a sudden they switch to someone else and tell them about themselves. Like when Artemis is about capture a fairy. They go to Captain Short point of view. the other thing is that it have a prologue and a epilogue. So we know a bit about themself and what is going on.

Wow! Monitor Cord Power Adapter
I really enjoyed this book and found all the characters to be engaging. The story is from the perspective of two black maids (Aibileen and Minny) and a white woman (Miss Skeeter). The chapters switch between those three first-person views. The dialects/accents take a little getting used to but after the first chapter it made the voices seem more authentic. However, the dialects are not used consistently and more judicious editing would have improved the voices considerably. I know that American readers find this aspect of the book particularly annoying.
I’m British and know little about segregation in the deep south of the United States and not much about the civil rights movement in the 60s either. In a lot of ways the topic of the book was shocking that these attitudes existed in such recent history. However, the story is one of hope and courage, women of different colours working together because they feel that they way things are is wrong and should be put right.
I have some mixed feelings about the ending. The ending did give me somewhat of a “huh?” feeling. I turned to the next page and expected more but found acknowledgements instead.
It’s not a neat ending that gives a tidy resolution but it does feel real.
It’s not a perfectly crafted book but I really enjoyed reading it.

Artemis Fowl is a 12 year old genius but he doens’t use his brights for things that you my think he’s criminal master mind. Artemis’s plan is to combine human greed with fariy magic something know one has done before.
I like how Eoin Collfer brings the fariy world to life with his descriptive words and magical imagination. My favorite part of the book is how he ends the story it’s a great ending you have to read it.
But he could have standed to write shorter chapters they were extremly long and that I did not like but other then that it was a great storyand you should read it!
