I couldn’t believe that a product that cost so much less than its competition could actually work! But my HDMI cables that I purchased for next-to-nothing really did work as promised. Why spend $30 when you don’t have to?

I bought this for the value. I didn’t want to spend 300+. I thought this product was highly reviewed and took the leap. I used it once in my living room and it removed so much dirt that it was caked at the bottom of the container when done. Usually I get dirty water but this sucked up a lot. I was really impressed with the drying time. I did this at 10pm, but a box fan down, woke up at 6:30 and it felt like I never did it. Carpet was really clean. I recommend using spot cleaner for tough areas, the clean surge does drain the solution so use sparingly. Very satisfied.

In need of reading material for my long flight home from India, I picked this up at the Bangalore airport. You’d think that I would have been much too tired to read, but this was such an engrossing read that I managed to finish the whole book well before landing in SFO! An entertaining, funny, and relatively quick read, I can see this getting turned into a movie someday.

I’m quite happy with my new pedometer. The memory helps me compare my progress on a daily basis either through calories burned, aerobic steps or total distance. It’s simple to use as opposed to some I’ve seen. I highly recommend it.

Let me start off by saying that this book is not really bad. It doesnt really give any wrong information, it is organized in fairly nice fashion, and for beginners its probably a great place to start. The title is a little misleading though. It doesnt really give a bit of advice on how to optimize Linux performance. It is merely a beginners language version of the man page for tools.

I was expecting something that would explain how to resolve thrashing or cpu usage issues, not simply give me a rundown on the tools that can find those situations. I found the cause, now what? This book doesnt help answer that question at all.

These women do all the cooking, the serving, the sweeping, the laundry, the polishing, and the scrubbing fro these families. They also raise the children, showing them love that they don’t always get from their real mothers. These women work for many different families, starting around age 15 and not stopping until they can’t leave their house. When Miss Skeeter comes home, looking for something she cares about so she can become a writer, she decides she wants to interview the help and here their stories. The help see and hear everything, but if they step out of line, they could be fired, and sharing their “white ladies” secrets is as unforgivable as stealing. The tolls of a white lady seeking revenge are far worse than anything her husband could do. And Miss Skeeter could be kicked out of the league for being an activist, costing her all her friends and wrecking her chance to find a husband and appease her mother. And who has time to write a book, anyway, with so much to worry about here in really life? But if it works, it’s gonna change some things in Jackson, Mississippi.
This book is captivating, IMPOSSIBLE to put down. Written from three different points of view, you get versions of the story from 22-year-old Miss Skeeter, Aibileen, a maid raising her 17th white child and working for Miss Leefolt, and Minny, Aibileen’s best friend, and a brilliant cook with a loose tongue. The dialogue, written with the accents of the time, is engaging and amusing, as long as you reread certain lines to make sure you didn’t trip along the way. Many cheers and much applause to Kathryn Stockett for this fantastic book.

It worked great…for half of my bedroom…Then It quit vacuming the cleaning solution from the carpet…Nice…dirty, wet, carpet. It’s a piece of garbage. I have to take it to the repair center because I didn’t want to pay another $25.00 to return it. If someone tries to sell you one of these, run for your life.
