Bought one for Christmas. Love it! Don’t really have anything negative to say…except I wish the games weren’t so expensive.

Like all other people, I read the reviews and was impressed that over 1.5 thousand customers bought this scale, with about 80% 5 stars reviews. So I ordered this one.

But after 1 week’s using, I found the scale is trying to use its memory (last time your weight) to show you if your weight is not much changes. For example, before and after I put on a jacket, the reading is the same; before and after I empty the bowels, the reading is the same. Even before and after 6 hours (I eat and exercise during it), the reading is still the same.

So I have to reset its memory by letting my son stand on it or put a dumbbell on it to get another number, then weight myself again to get a real number that can reflect the weight I’m wearing a jacket or after my bowels are empty. Lift it up and put it down even can’t reset its memory.

Fortunately I am not in a weight lossing program so the “memory” thing is OK to me. But I am disappoint that this scale use such trick to maintain its accuracy.

There’s been so many reviews on this thing, and as you can tell from the number of stars, it really works.

My review is more of a warning for people with naughty dogs (like mine). My dog loves to move around as I am brushing him. He actually swings his head wildly sometimes. He once smacked his mouth against the “blade” and his mouth started bleeding (although he seemed to be more curious about the blood than in pain lol).

So now I basically hold him in one spot by his neck while brushing him. This seems to do the trick (although I have to be careful because sometime he may start randomly peeing since he doesn’t get his way lol).

Set up was minimal and easy. After setting, I marked off a distance of .5 miles from my house (by car odometer), then walked it with this new pedometer. It was right on target! Now I know how far I’m walking during a round of golf and I can safely say “It is too excercise!”

My eyesight isn’t what it once was. The Kindle permits me to make the print larger. I was amazed at how easy it was to select and download books. I really enjoy reading again

I have figured out the following good & bad about Itouch :
GOOD:
1) Itouch = iphone – (calls & sms)
2) Great looking graphics
3) No other player can compete with the graphics & handy controls
4) Supports videos, photos, music & other apps that you can download from apple itunes site
5) long battery life
6) detects rotation,sliding makes it a fun icon for buying
7) Supports Wi-Fi, so internet on the move. So u can access maps, google, social networking sites etc..

BAD:
1) Lot of restrictions applied
2) cant use this as a USB data drive
3) must only copy songs/videos/photos/apps using Itunes software
4) Always keep a backup of the songs/vidoes/photos/apps on your PC. so if ur itouch is using 8GB memory, u also need to store the same copy of all of them on your PC hard disk
5) powering up takes lot of time
6) Controls while playing video is not accurate, needs lot of improvement.
7) Sound clarity is not at all comparable to Zune, Creative Zen, or Sandisk Sansa. The itunes software stores lot of temporary files on the PC hard disk, which eats away most of the space.
9) No apps are free, all have to be only downloaded from apple site, Means apple makes money even after u buy itouch.
10) DRM protected songs cannot be copied
11) if ur Ipod is 8GB, u wont get to use the complete 8GB. Total size will be around 7.10 GB only. rest is used by the itouch itself for it’s system files.
12) only opera browser, so u cant use any others for browsing
13) Bluetooth is worst, some times it detects, sometimes it doesn’t

My final suggestion is that if u r not crazy about the size, graphics, then better dont buy this item as the price it way too high when compared to others with the same/better features.

First I would like to say that is true that you will NOT get the latest maps with this. If you want to have the “Latest Map Guarantee”, then buy a new 720. Using the MapShare does help to overcome the old maps on the GPS.

It is a good size screen and after spending a few minutes with it, I realised that the layout is quite intuitive.

The TomTom desktop software is not the greatest. When using the PC software to interact with the TomTom, it is slow and will eventually stop working. If you are entering favourites or doing more than rudimentary tasks with the TomTom, just undock it and work with it directly.

I did notice that when leaving a large parking lot off a known road, the TomTom seems to either take time to acquire its location or just doesn’t know how to present where you are. This, however, is really minor.

As in other reviews, the battery life is not a long lasting as expected. It would be nice if there was a battery level warning to let you know that the battery is running low. We didn’t realise what was going on until we pulled onto city streets and the computer voice was not saying anything. Once we plugged it in, then all was well in the world again.

Updating the map via the TomTom is simple and intuitive. We were pulling onto Rt 1 in Delaware and the TomTom stated we could make a left onto the divided highway, which we clearly couldn’t. Once we got home, I just made the change and then uploaded it using the supplied software. Pretty cool.

If you live in an area that is mature and doesn’t have a lot of new construction and roads, then this is a great buy.

I can’t give it five stars since it is missing the latest map guarantee. All in all we really do like this GPS and never got lost with it.
