Trolley H16419 ROBERS With for good

I haven’t loved a book the way I did this one since The Secret Life of Bees. Cannot wait for her next one. What an amazing writer. I lost myself in this story! I just hope the film does it justice. But, if not, we always have the book. Bravo!!

Folley Buddy Trolley Holly the best

I am very happy with my Hoover SteamVac. It was easy to assemble and easy to use. It cleaned my very dirty carpets- two dogs and two kids. I live in Alaska and we track in a lot of dirt and mud. The amount of dirt that the SteamVac removed from the carpet was amazing! I dumped bucket after bucket of filthy water. I now feel much more comfortable watching my three year roll around on our clean carpet.

I would recommend this machine to anyone looking for a cleaner that can do heavy duty cleanup- but you do have to commit some time. It took me three hours to do our small living room- but that was the first time it had ever been cleaned. I also think this machine is going to be great for quick cleanup jobs. I store it right next to the vaccuum- it doesn’t take up that much space.

This machine is a great value.

Wow, I love my Kindle. I’m not sure how I got along without it until now. How does it compare to other e-readers? I couldn’t tell you. But I’ll tell you what, the Kindle is filled with so many great features that I know some of the competition doesn’t have, that I think I made the right choice.

The built-in dictionary is a very cool feature. While I haven’t had to really use it yet, I know that there is the odd time that I’ve been reading paper books and thought, I wonder what that word really means (other than inferring from context).

I like the “clipping” and notes features, as well. I’ve always been a bit anal about marking up my paper books, but on the Kindle it’s easy to save a great quote or snippet from a book, or to add some of your own notes/commentary on something you read. Since I was so up-tight about doing it on paper books, it may take me some time to get used to it, but I can see that I will love this feature. It would have been awesome for text books when I was in University!

I love the many font sizes and the ability to rotate the reader on it’s side. An accelerometer may have helped, but then again, it may have been annoying if the thing kept flipping around on you while you were reading.

Some drawbacks that look to be resolved in the new 3rd Gen models are the placement of the “stick” as it’s right under the heel of your right thumb if you are reading it in the “default” position. I’ve inadvertently hit the button a few times. I also wish the “Home” button was somewhere else and in it’s current location was another “Prev Page” button. I find that I often hit it thinking it’s the “Prev Page” button like on the LHS of the device.

I also wish it supported more formats natively. PDF support isn’t great as the scaling is hard to deal with. Reading it with the reader rotated seems to work best for PDFs. It would be nice to be able to use other formats like epub or even native DOCX files, without required conversion. Also, some way t

Dreadful. Judging from the first paragraph, this novel had the potential for being absorbing and a good holiday read. I was soon only making my way through it because I had nothing else to read and I kept thinking it must get better since it came highly recommended. If only I had had something better than this time waster: lazy plot that never seemed to go anywhere because it went in too many irrelevant directions, little firsthand knowledge of the circus, low-level vocabulary. A waste of time on a good topic.

Spoilers!
This book is about a 12 year old criminal mastermind by the name of Artemis Fowl. For once we are actually on the side of the villain! Now, the book summary is a little bit misleading and sounds rather cheesy to me:
“These aren’t the fairies of bedtime stories. These fairies are armed and they’re dangerous.”
This does not do the book justice in my opinion. I would never have read the book if the librarian hadn’t recommended it. Many of the one star reviews go on and on about how there are so many typos. Well, in almost every book there are typos, and I found I didn’t notice them unless I was actually looking for them. Plus, I see them in Harry Potter, Nancy Drew, and many other noteworthy books.
I thought it was very nice to be rooting for the villain for once, and the fact that he wins in the end is even better. I love Butler the butler, and I thought how Eoin Colfer gave background info on every character was wonderful. I thought that he did a really good job describing the characters emotions and what motivates them. Artemis wants more money because he believes it will make him happier. Butler wants to be a good bodyguard, and Holly Short wants to please her commander and do a good job in LEPrecon, her job. Mulch (perhaps one of my top three favorite characters) just wants to escape prison, and he manages it!
I have recommended this book to several of my friends and they love it, also I think adults would enjoy it as well, my mother did. I thought that the ending was very well done with Artemis sacrificing half the gold to have Holly heal his mother, who is very sick, and doesn’t always recognize him. I also thought that Holly was a very well done character, and I enjoy seeing a girl portrayed as tough and smart. Overall a very good book, which has made it into my top ten books of all time.

Great device but the battery life is way overstated. You will be lucky to get two good hours from this device.

Trolley Pant test

My wife and I each have a kindle. Hers is the original model, mine is the Kindle II. To our surprise, both of our kindles died. Hers barely within the one year warranty period and mine just beyond the warranty. Hers was replaced and the replacement has been working fine for approximately 10 months. I’m in the process of communicated with Amazon to determine if mine can be fixed. We love the features of our Kindles – but how disheartening it is to see both of them die so soon. They were well taken care of and not subjected to any harsh useage. Neither of the kindles was dropped.

So, fine devices we really like a lot, but poor reliability.

I finally got some scales that are not only stylish looking but very good for older people.
I love them! I step on, no tapping or turning on, and the numbers are large enough for me to see without my glasses.
I recommend them for anybody.
